Funding

The Biobased Future Foundation was established in 2024. It offers various funding opportunities and programmes. One example is the promotion of young scientists by supporting students in basic and applied research. In particular, we support scientific and/or educational events and research projects, provide scholarships, award research contracts, and support projects that offer an artistic interpretation of scientific results.

Research and science communication

We also have a specific interest in promoting successful, clear science communication. In particular, we want to support scientists who are able to communicate their research, projects, findings, and results clearly, both within their field of the science and beyond, such as to lobby groups and professional associations, policy makers, the media, and the general public.

The foundation also pursues its own projects and research collaborations.
